As a queer parent, I’m particularly conscientious about creating and supporting positive representations and messages about trans kids, LGBTQ+ families, and our communities.
It’s a on-going effort, and I encourage and work to assist other parents who might not have the same instigations or opportunities to do the same—so that our kids will live and interact in a more inclusive and representative world.

Kids Books
Many of the books we read at home are part of our subscription to Little Feminist Book Club. I also recommend OurShelves — I subscribe to their newsletter, which is a great resource even if you are not part of the book club. Note: When you click through these links and buy anything from Bookshop, I get a few cents to a few dollars per purchase. So, thanks!
